Ordinary moments.
Extraordinary photos.

Photography that celebrates the the joy of your beautifully imperfect life.

Motherhood calls us to an impossible task. We shape the minds of tiny humans, love them, raise them, protect them, all while giving up so very much of ourselves. We know how quickly the years will pass, and yet the exhaustion and frustration of our busy lives leave us wishing the days away. But you are the center of the universe to your tiny humans. I want to show you how magical that is. I want to photograph your real, your raw, your wild. I want to show you how all of your little stories and tiny details add up to something extraordinary.

A DIFFERENT KIND OF FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

I discovered documentary photography by taking photos of my daily life when my daughter was a toddler. At the time, it felt like a way to practice my art, to get behind my camera every day. What was meant to be a technical exercise turned into something transformative when I gathered all those images at the end of a year and saw so many things I’d been missing.

I saw the joy on days that felt hard and ugly and messy. I saw a little girl growing up before my eyes. I saw her childhood, full of magic and barefoot dance parties. And I also saw the profound effect of showing her these images, allowing her to see her own childhood played back for her. It is the tangible history of her.

Photography can be more than a yearly task to check off your to-do list. It can be more than standing on a beach in matching outfits. Photography can transport you back in time, and it can leave behind a legacy of joy your family shares for a lifetime and beyond.

FAMILY PHOTOS THAT FEEL LIKE YOU

Breaking free from the expected family portraits, and documenting your life as you live it.

Here’s how it works: we’ll hang out together. That’s it. No matching outfits required. I’ll bring my camera, and then in a few weeks, you’ll receive art that shows your real memories, your real life, presented in vivid color.

BUT MY FAMILY IS TOO MESSY

Good. Mine too! No really, my house is a mess and I long ago gave up on dreams of it ever being tidy.

But my daughter has this baby doll. She named her “Baby.” Baby has gone everywhere with us, she has been snuggled and hugged and lugged about (and nearly abandoned on several harrowing occasions). I realized one day that Baby, this beloved memento of my daughter’s childhood, will end up in a box one day. Mostly forgotten, quite possibly lost in the mess of childhood memorabilia all mothers hoard.

And that’s why I do what I do. Because I don’t want to forget about Baby. I want to cherish the details before they’re gone. And I want to do the same for you. I want to document all of your little details and stories that might seem so unimportant to the rest of the world, but are everything to you.

This is photography for people who dare to be real. This is photography for people who want their memories turned into art.
