Santa Barbara Lifestyle Family Session
Dreamy Montecito property + the sweetest little family ever = pure magic! This lifestyle session was put together for the Color Me Happy Workshop, put on by the amazing photographer/mentor/friend, Jennifer Lawrence! She found this AMAZING Airbnb (seriously, so much home inspo) along with this beautiful family to model for us, and I had an absolute blast shooting this lifestyle session!
This weekend workshop was full of what coastal California gives us often – overcast skies. We kept waiting for sun to pop out, and it rarely did! So we spent a lot of time hugging the windows for this session, but the family did the best job at bringing ALL the sunshine, love, and infectious laughter. They had the sweetest natural connection and it was such a joy to document!
I always have a soft spot for home sessions – even if your home isn’t straight out of a magazine! It’s the little details that really make it special, and from snuggles and kisses in bed to backyard hangs, family photos in the place where your family is the most comfortable are always a great idea!
